Belly landings do happen at times. A good trick is to pull the flaps back up almost as you touch down to prevent damage to the flaps . And kill the motor 3 or 4 feet from the deck to possible save the 2 bladed prop. Now if you have 4 blades, your buying a new prop.

A better landing than many with both wheels down and locked. Great job! If I might suggest, it appears that your engine was running until you contacted the ground, the practice in manned aircraft when belly landing is to kill the engine and try to get the propeller horizontal on short final so you don’t have a prop strike. Saves the prop and an engine overhaul. May not be possible with RC aircraft though.

Well its big and expenxive what is the point? I had SR 71s yellow craft byrons and scratch built giant chunks of wood, I then realised I was not having any fun, it was all work and onlookers just want to see me crash!

Wer ist lauter, die Gee Bee oder der Sprecher, der Beitrag ist dilletantisch. Schade um so einen Beitrag, aber es gibt ja noch andere über dieses Flugzeug, die man verlinken oder sich mehrmals ansehen kann.

Stop calling it a " Stealth " fighter. Tests conducted on an all wooden replica showed it had 80% of the radar signature of a BF 109. The actual aircraft, with it's steel frame and metal engine cowlings would have had a larger signature. The stealth myth should die. Beautiful model.

Looks like their wallets were bigger than their skill level right from the very beginning. The entire flights of both aircraft looked like they were right on the edge of flight stability and over correction
